It took a good 6 or 7 months, but I finally finished "Pictures of the Mind: What the New Neuroscience Tells Us About Who We Are". I really debated on the rating for this one. To qualify for 2 stars, it has to be enjoyable. If it were really enjoyable, it shouldn't have taken me so long to read. But... It really did have some bits in it that were just fascinating (comas, the brain and addiction, the potential use of brain scans / brain activity to show intention, etc). So, two stars it is. I'm just happy to move it out of the "currently reading" section! Reading List page - updated.
In other news, I've had a few of my pictures posted to another website. If you haven't figured it out through previous posts, I kind of like trees, especially giant sequoia trees. There's a website that lists the locations of redwood trees throughout the UK, and the site now includes the trees I found and photographed at Wrest Park. Yeah! The site is Redwood World, and my pictures are here.
